He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Pete" Ritchie and Lucille Ritchie (Ward); his former wife Bonnie Ritchie; his brother Richard Ritchie (Mayme); his father-in-law Milton Leix (Fern); and his sister Eileen Fingerson (Roger).
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Ritchie (Kelly) of Cobb, Jon Ritchie (Carrie) of Cobb and Connie Hallada (Frank) of Dodgeville; his grandchildren, Chelsie Klaas (Nick), Tony Ritchie (Holly), Carsen Erickson (Stevie), Kaitlin Solomon (Jake), Logan Ritchie (Callie) and Haley Hallada; his sisters, Carrolynn Merrell of Harpursville, NY and Lois Jean Clifton (LaVerne) of Montfort; and his pet Lucy II. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, many special friends, neighbors.
In lieu of plants and flowers, memorials may be given in Loving Memory of Donald "Chief" Ritchie, and these will be distributed to local organizations that were dear to him.
