He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hughes and Athel Susan Frost Hughes; his in-laws, William and Theresa Weier; his siblings, Dorothy Cooper, Pat Krosko (Ken) and Jack Weier (Jackie); his niece Sandy Peer; his nephew Tim Weier; and his great grandchild Silas Hughes Stiller.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jean; his children, Marcia Banike (Andrew), Paul Hughes (Sue), Cathy Kalp (Russ), Dan Hughes, Pat Hughes (Chris), Doug Hughes (Ann), Jeff Hughes (Leslie) and Dave Calzaretta; and his siblings, Helen McCarthey and Mark Weier (Sarah). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren.
