It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Wittman in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Walter departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Walter may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Walter leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wittman and Delores Wittman; and his brother Bruce. He is survived by: his siblings, Randall Wittman (Loida), Brenda Allard, Pam Nelson (Dale) and Craig Wittman; and his nieces and nephews, Matthew, Cozzette, Scott, Jason and Kristina. He is also survived by seven grandnieces and grandnephew, along with many cousins and friends.
