He is survived by: his children, Dean Leonhard, Dion Leonhard, Brenda Jenness (Pat) and Gena Leonhard; his siblings, Lois Lackershire (Jan), Debbie Kieliszewski (Ron), Kathy Wriedt, Gwen Diamond (Bob), Steve, Brad, Bryan, Berry and Peggy Dawson; his grandchildren, Katrina, Gavin, Monique, Jaylen, Briley, Cayden Leonhard and Aaron Gumz; and his niece Kayla Scheunaman (Brent).
