He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Weidner and Esther Weidner (Pullmann); his brothers, Philip and Joel Weidner; his daughter-in-law Kim Weidner; his great-niece Grace Miranda; and his nephew-in-law Ryan Miranda.

He is survived by: his friend Steve Fisher; his sons, Derek (Sue) of Stanley and Andrew; his grandchildren, Brenda, John and Marissa; his sister-in-law Wanda Weidner of Iowa; his nieces, Karyn Joyce (Jamie), Julie St (Kevin), Sheri Kinzie (Chad) and Kristi Miranda; and his nephew Bryan Weidner (Misty).

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rhiel Funeral Home & Cremation Services (615 12th Ave E, Durand, WI 54736). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
