He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Liebig and Clara Liebig (Schilf); and his brother-in-law Russell Chizek. He is survived by: his wife Heidi Kutzbach; his children, Judith Anderson (Richard) of Hartsville, SC, Anna Hadler (Jon) of Marathon, WI and Andrew Liebig (Jean) of Wasilla, AK; his grandchildren, Holly Rettig (Jake), Emily Morman (Justin), Heidi Krautkramer (Russell), Haley Hadler, Benjamin Liebig and Kaitlyn Liebig; his great grandchildren, Jackson Rettig, Henry Rettig, Madeline Morman and Claire Morman; and his sister Marie Chizek of Rolling Meadows, IL..

In lieu of flowers, gifts can be directed to the Building Fund of Christ Lutheran Church, 201 N. 3rd St, Eagle River, WI 54521-8421.
