She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Simac and June Simac. She is survived by: her husband Ed Gardinier; her daughter Cassandra Swan (Kyle); the father of her child Scott Nordstrom; and her siblings, Teri Simac, Kathy Fanning (Mike) and Joe Simac (Mary).

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home (304 E Division St, Eagle River, WI 54521). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
