He is survived by: his wife Marcia Gunderson; his stepson Brett (Kris Schmidt); his grandchildren, Greg Schmidt (Harley) and Carley Shroyer (Ben); and his great grandchild Eleanor Grace Schmidt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
