He was predeceased by: his son Dennis Gechas; his parents, Stanley Gechas and Vivian Gechas; and his brother Tony Gechas. He is survived by: his wife Penny; his stepson Nicholas Kowalski; and his sister Cindy Bettinger (Mike).
