He is survived by: his wife Sue Saxhaug; his daughters, Amy Duvall (George) and Julie Kelly (David); his grandsons, Andrew Duvall (Daniele), Mitchell Duvall, Allie Dillman and Owen Dillman (Kate Simplicio); his great grandchildren, Evelyn and Sullivan Duvall; and his brother-in-law Jim Saxhaug.
