He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Prien (Novack) and Walter Prien Sr.; and his brothers, Warren and William. He is survived by: his siblings, Sandra (Habel) of Rhinelander and Roger of Eagle River; and his aunt Dorothy Hasey of Columbus. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews, friends.
