She was predeceased by: her parents, John VonRueden and Katherine VonRueden (Faestel); her husband Alvin E. Kau; her children, Kristine, Teresa and James; her grandchild Jamie; and her siblings, Elizabeth Kau (late George) and Joseph VonRueden (late Marie).
She is survived by: her children, Susan Kau (Randall Zirk) of Madison, Kenneth Kau (Leslie) of Palmyra, Gerard Kau (Jani) of Palmyra, Patricia Breitzman (William) of Stillwater, MN and Jean Ann Reith (Tim) of Palmyra; her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Alyssa, Jennifer, Kendall, Jerrod, Henry, Matthew, Jessica, Peter, Meagan (Evan), Chelsea (Matt), Kaylea, Tyler (Micheala), Nicholas (Katherine) and Jonathan (Abigail); Cheri Kau Miller of Florida. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
