As Leo departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Leo may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Leo leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Wurzer and Shirley Wurzer (McNeil); his brother Kenneth; and his close friend Jeffrey Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Christine Wurzer of Eagle; his children, Amanda Wurzer of Sullivan and Johnathan Wurzer (Nancy) of Oshkosh; and his siblings, Barb Pierce (late Kevin) of Kenosha, Ron Wurzer (Kathy) of Whitefish Bay and Charlene Pearson (Mark) of Sun Prairie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gibson Family Funeral Home (499 Elkhorn Rd, Eagle, WI 53119). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (501 Elkhorn Rd, Eagle, WI 53119).
