He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Loefer and Hazel Loefer (Sales); his sons, Michael and Ernest Loefer; his sister Betty Strike; and his son-in-law Randy Moots.
He is survived by: his wife Carol M. Davis; his daughters, Yvonne Loefer of Mukwonago and Michele Goldbach (Ray) of Palmyra; his grandson Corey Hackbarth (Alexandra) of North Carolina; and his great grandchildren, Harper and Cruz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gibson Family Funeral Home (499 Elkhorn Rd, Eagle, WI 53119). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Oak Knoll Cemetery.
