Gregory P. Gruning Obituary

Gregory P. Gruning "Greg" Of East Troy, was called home by his Lord and Savior on October 7, 2022 at the age of 64. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Betty Gruning (nee Bublitz) of 41 years; loving dad of Nicholas (Natalie) Gruning and Brittany Gruning; proud grandpa of Mariah and Kezra Gruning. Greg is further survived by his mother-in-law Helen Newman, his brother-in-law Phillip Hoppman, and nephews Patrick, Kevin, and Alex Hoppman. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Bessie Gruning, father-in-law Richard Newman, and his sister Barbara Hoppman.

Greg was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in East Troy. He loved his church community and his work family. He enjoyed working in his yard and around the house. Greg loved travelling with Betty and family to Europe and spending time on the boat with everyone on Lake Beulah. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (1975 Beulah Ave. East Troy) from 4:00 PM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 6:00 PM.
