He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hagedorn and Anne Hagedorn. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Hagedorn; his daughters, Carissa and Becca Hagedorn; and his siblings, George Hagedorn (Janet), Mary Lederer (John) and Roy Hagedorn (Lori).

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
