He was predeceased by: his father George Pontel; and his wife Carole Mae Pontel (Lemke). He is survived by: his children, Rita Mary Fenters (Craig), Cheryl Louise Ferry (Dean), Diane Helene, David Wallace Pontel (Pam) and Linda Carole Sorenson (Ron); and his close friends, Rod Maki and June Johnson of Finn Power. He is also survived by his 5 children, 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
