He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Thorsbakken and Violet Thorsbakken (Owen); his wife Patricia; his brother Robert; and his brother-in-law Roland Gilbertson.
He is survived by: his children, Natalie Schmaltz (Bill), Mary Trebus (Steve), James and Max (Brooke); his siblings, Rose Gilbertson and Dale (Ardis); and his sister-in-law Kay. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
