He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Zwiefelhofer and Viola Zwiefelhofer (Anderson); and his sister-in-law Jenny Zwiefelhofer. He is survived by: his wife Anita Hiess; his children, Jeff Zwiefelhofer (Michelle), Linda Odness (Jim), Deb Zwiefelhofer (Dave Nashold), Amanda Erickson (Matt) and Amy Zappa (Derrick); and his siblings, Philip Zwiefelhofer, Jim Zwiefelhofer (Darlene), Del Zwiefelhofer (Barb), Tom Zwiefelhofer (Janet) and Diane Baier (Dave). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Horan Funeral Home (420 Bay St, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729). A vigil service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Olaf Catholic Church (3220 Monroe St, Eau Claire, WI 54703). A burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at the Prairie View Cemetery (4061 N Prairie View Rd, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729).
