She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Michels and Rose Michels (Lastofka); her sister Kathleen Leis; and her brother-in-law William Leis. She is survived by: her sisters, JoAnn Schmidt (Dave) of New Richmond and Carol Dorn (Steve) of Prescott; her siblings' children, Jennifer Leis, Megan Stary (Michael), Ryan Leis (Lynzi) and Tim Leis; her great-nephews, Deklan Stary and William Leis; and her great-niece Lakyn Stary.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smith Funeral Chapel (2222 London Rd, Eau Claire, WI 54701). A memorial service was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
