Carl Bahnson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Bahnson of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, born in Racine, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 30, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth M. Bahnson and Mary E. Emmett; and his stepmother Ellen Bahnson. He is survived by: his former spouse Gwenn Nyhagen; his wife Mary Weider; his stepdaughter Ayla; his children, Erika Amundson (Phil) and Ben Bahnson (Melissa); his granddaughters, Quinn and Avery; and his sisters, Margaret Bahnson (Carol), Barb Bahnson and Beth Mielke (Peter). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Carl was an advocate of children and especially children in need so in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the YMCA of the Chippewa Valley youth membership for low income kids or The Boys and Girls Club of the Greater Chippewa Valley.
