He was predeceased by: his parents, Walton Manz and Beatrice Manz (Hartvigh); his son Robert Carl Manz; his son-in-law Kurt Friesth; and his brother John Manz.
He is survived by: his siblings, Martha McMahon and Frank Manz (Joann); his wife Diane Manz (Johnson); his children, James Manz (Sharon) and Barbara Friesth; and his grandchildren, Wesley, Trevor, Sarah Manz, Emma and Kristen Friesth.
