She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Dawson and Margaret Dawson (Buck); her husband Lee; her siblings, Ginger and Mike; and her in-laws, Lois, Laraine, Russ, Don and Jerry.
She is survived by: her children, Laurie Brantner (Jim), Joe Weddle (Linda) and Dave Weddle (Rose); her grandson Zach Gillespie; her stepgrandchildren, Sarah Julien (Marc) and Isaac Brantner; her great grandchild Axel Julien; her sister Mary Werner (Ralph); and her in-laws, LaVonne Smith Kay Simoni (Ron), Trish Sherman (Ken), Jim Weddle (Carol) and Judy Sadler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Chapel (2222 London Rd, Eau Claire, WI 54701). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
