With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol F. Gutsch of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, born in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 8, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Zdrazil and Agnes Zdrazil (Mousseau); and her brothers, John and Chuck Zdrazil. She is survived by: her children, Tim Gutsch (Theresa) of Wausau, Gene Gutsch (Shirley) of Elk Mound, John "Jack" Gutsch (Cara) of Colfax, Steve Gutsch (Criss) of Mondovi, Jim Gutsch (Carol) of Eau Claire, Cathy Beckfield (Mark) of Eau Claire, Barb Gutsch (Nyla) of Salina, KS and Anne Cooley (Billy) of Wilmington, NC; her grandchildren, Ben Gutsch (Megan), Bethany Hoffman (Jeremy), Chris Beckfield (Kelsie), Will Beckfield (Maddy), Alexandra Laffey (Alex), Michael Beckfield, Brandon Ring (Emily), Kayla Trautlein (Justin), Amanda Peters (Mike), Matt Gutsch (Lindsey), John Gutsch, Carolyn Gutsch, Nelson Gutsch, Elayna Bridges (Matt), Dayton Gutsch, Elise Cooley, Makenna Cooley, Jason Gutsch and Kyle Gutsch; her great grandchildren, Nat, Claire McCarthy, Graham, Ollie Hoffman, Ellie, Lydia Beckfield, Ayden, Ben Ring, Zander Trautlein, Xander and Charlie Gutsch; her close friend Paul Blanchard of Eau Claire; her friends, Shirley Kilday, Wilma Rice and Jan Kippenham; her nieces, Ellen Cochran, Annie McCall, Teresa Porn and Tracy Nelson; and her sisters, Marianna Cochran of Arlington, VA, Agnes "Sis" Shea of Manitowoc and Marian Zdrazil of St. Paul, MN..

Her favorite activity every year was the annual Cookie Bake where the family gathered to bake 100 dozen Christmas cookies – held every year for the past 29 years, only missing 2020 due to the COVID pandemic.
