He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Kaiser and Dorothy A. Kaiser (Kelly); and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Wagner; his son Matthew Kaiser (Marina); his siblings, Jim Kaiser (Linda Johnson) and Jayne Plumer (Charles); his sisters-in-law, Elaine Kaiser, Linda Wagner and Joan Meyer (John); and his friends, Karen and Scott Goldbeck. He is also survived by other friends and relatives.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to the Feed My People Food Bank, the Beacon House Shelter in Eau Claire, or a charity of the donor's choice.
