She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Evans, Jr. and Elizabeth Carpenter Evans. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Martin; her children, Karina Martin Hogan of New York City, Nicholas Martin of St. Paul, MN, Sonia Martin of Philadelphia, PA and Monica Frith Esguerra of Las Vegas, NV.; her brother John Evans III; her sister-in-law Phyllis of St. Louis; her children, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Chile, Peru and Mexico; and also Phyllis. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
The family has requested donations to the church of Gichitwaa Kateri in lieu of flowers.
