He was predeceased by: his siblings, Robert, Willard Jr. and Jean. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his sons, Dale Allen Southard, Jr. of Larkspur, CA, Jon Arnold Southard (Stephanie Torto) of Winchester, MA and Dr. Mark Robert Southard (Erin Southard) of Altoona, WI.; his siblings, Donald Southard, Sr. (Sharon), James Southard and Susan Bridger; and his grandchildren, Emma, Katie, Kylie, Danny, Andrew, Zoey and Nina.
In lieu of flowers and gifts the family requests donations be made in his name to the L. E. Phillips Career Development Center or to the Feed My People Food Bank.
