He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman and Delsie (Rohlfs); and his parents-in-law, Georgena and Kermit. He is survived by: his son Eric; his siblings, Duane (Marge), LaMoine (Lois), Muriel Amundson (Alan), Jeanine Lacey, Lillian House (Malvin), Robert, Shirley Mahlum, Loyde (Evelyn), Lyle and George; his wife Pat; his children, Lori Engedal (Clay), Scott Gardow (Linda), Diane Briski (Mark) and Dawn Gardow; his daughter-in-law Brooke Gardow; his grandchildren, Shannon, Jason, Jordan, Kyle, Tony, Aaron, Adam of Matthew, EJ, Bennett and Gemma; and his siblings-in-law, Chuck Lacey, Ed Mahlum, Clarice and Mavis Gardow. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and a large extended family.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorials for Darrel be made to Chapel Heights United Methodist Church or LE Phillips Senior Center in Eau Claire. Keep Darrel's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
