He was predeceased by: his parent Ethel Sandvig; his uncle Vernon Sandvig (Helen); his sister-in-law Dara Sandvig; and his great grandchild Nathaniel Sandvig. He is survived by: his former wife Helen Sandvig; his wife Martha Sandvig (Helen); his children, David Sandvig Jr., Christopher Sandvig, Jonathan Sandvig (Stacy) and Sherri Condon (Donald); and his siblings, Ronald Sandvig and Judith Stafsholt (Larry). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
