He was predeceased by: his close friend MaryLee Meida of Maplewood, MN; his parents, Andrew Porter and Signa Porter; his son-in-law Cliff Kessler; his granddaughter Olivia Ocelotl Montes; and his pet Rocco.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Zenner; his children, Andrew Porter (Christine), Erin Ocelotl Montes (Felipe) and Laurie Kessler (Cliff); and his siblings, Alan Porter and Andrea O'Keefe. He is also survived by five grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be used to support the Chippewa Falls Veterans Hospital, St. Jude's children's hospital, and the Wounded Warrior's Project.
