He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Hanson (Wiggins) and Edwin T. Hanson Sr.; and his siblings, Edgar and Shirley Zuehlke. He is survived by: his wife Janet M. Olson; his children, Kurt Hanson (Judy), Shari Hanson and Keith Hanson (Ann); his grandchildren, Kailey Hanson, Weston Hanson (Megan), Kristina Chahine (George) and Olivia Mroczenski (Derek); and his great grandchild Ruby Hanson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or VFW Post 305.
