Frank Garber Jr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frank Garber Jr. (Eau Claire, Wisconsin), who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Garbers, Sr. and Betsy Garbers (Symonds); his daughter-in-law Jacque Austin; his siblings, Richard Garber and Janet; and his brothers-in-law, Earl King and Clarence Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Heather Cartwright O'Connor; his children, Robert Garber, Patrick Garber and Heidi Perkins (Donte); his siblings, Ron Garber (Bonnie), Jon Garber (Vesta), Arthur, Sandra Cook and Brenda Ratlief (Gary); his siblings-in-law, Delores Garber, Robin Wanner (Ken), Ray Cartwright (Toni) and Kevin Cartwright (Vikki); his grandchildren, Shannon Grove (Kevin), Alex Garber, Samantha Garber, Alyssa Nunez (Darwin), Xakezion Perkins, Skyzayus Perkins and Lucas Garber; and his close friend Lacy Sahr (Thomas). He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church (1120 Cedar St, Eau Claire, WI 54703). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Good Shepherd Endowment Fund or Chippewa Valley Railroad Foundation.
