We are sad to announce that, on March 16, 2026, at the age of 88, Fredrick W Swanson of Eau Claire, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Swanson and Margaret K. Swanson (Pitzen); his siblings, Nicholas Clinge, Walter "Hunts" Swanson, Deloras Dallia, JoAnn Bartnick and Carol Ann Swanson; his siblings-in-law, Elaine Swanson, Mary Clinge and Arthur Dallia; and his pet Teddy.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia J. Swanson (Sutherland); and his children, David Swanson (Tammy) of Eau Claire, WI, Thomas Swanson (Erin) of Eau Claire, WI and Denise Burrell (Amari) of Cottage Grove, MN. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Fred's honor to the Veterans Association or the ASPCA.
