George T. Sturgis Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George T. Sturgis of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on January 8, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Sturgis and Jeanette Sturgis (Gerber); his siblings, Jodean Randen, Ethel Legge and Roger; and his sister-in-law Carol Waak.

He is survived by: his wife Eileen Waak; his daughters, Brooke and Crystal Sturgis; his son-in-law Chad Landsinger; his stepgrandson Hugh Champagne; his siblings, Reverend Larry Sturgis (Anita) and Elaine Sturgis; his brothers-in-law, James Legge and Howard Waak (Janet); his nephew John Randen; and his cousin John Mai. He is also survived by three godchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, great, and great great nieces and nephews.
