Gerald Anaas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Anaas (Eau Claire, Wisconsin), who passed away on September 17, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Anaas and Mabel Anaas (Paulson); his daughters-in-law, Sue and Peggy; and his sister-in-law Elaine Knutson (Arlyn).
He is survived by: his wife Alva; his children, Randy Anaas (Mary Kay), Greg Anaas, Linda Sage, Heidi Cattanach (Doug), Diane Schultz (Jim "Tiger") and Dawn Bloom (Steve); his grandchildren, Dustin (Kelley), Andy (Martine), Nikki (Matt), Danielle (Randy), Alex, Cody, Rebecca (Doug), Tim, Amber (Kou) and Taylor (Jason); his great grandchildren, Elsie, Gunnar, Layla, Alayna, Will, Micah, Nathan, Anika, Miles, Korraline and Riley; and his sister-in-law Charlene Maurer (Randy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1314 E Lexington Blvd, Eau Claire, WI 54701). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Pigeon Creek Lutheran Cemetery.
