He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Charpentier and Marie Charpentier (Trudeau); and his siblings, Richard, Howard, Frank, Gary, Linda and Diane.

He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Charpentier (Lange); his sons, Jason Charpentier (Amanda), Colin Charpentier (Erika), Ethan Charpentier (Janet) and Jeffrey Charpentier; his grandchildren, Raquel (Josh), Trent, Addison and Averie; and his siblings, Eugene (Lenore) and Doris (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
