He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Lieberg and Glada Lieberg; his wife Nancy Backe; his stepfather Rolland Welke; his brothers-in-law, Richard Ginder, Keith Christensen and James Frendel; his nephew Jeffrey Ginder; his parents-in-law, Willard and Frances Backe; his siblings-in-law, Jean Jore, Steve Jore and Mary Magadanz; and his close friend Jim Gruen.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Lieberg, Brian Lieberg (Shelly) and Matthew Lieberg; his grandson Chevy (Haley); his great grandchild Leo; his siblings, Earl Lieberg, Eugene Lieberg (Diane), Earline Christensen and Elaine Ginder; and his siblings-in-law, Sue Kempen (Don) and Ron Magadanz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Therefore, in lieu of flowers, all memorials should be directed to the Eau Claire County Humane Association.
