He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry F. Harder and Loretta M. Harder; his brother Bill; his close friend Erna Kelly; his children, Richard Harder, Bentley Harder (Judy), Jennifer Harder (David Wahl) and Aaron Harder (Elizabeth); and the mother of his children Sarah Harder. He was also cherished by many loving in-laws, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces & nephews.

In-person attendance is available only by invitation due to Covid precautions; however, the service will also be available via Zoom link.

He faced his years-long Alzheimer's struggle with the same courage, humor and intelligence that were abundant in other areas of his life.
