He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Prince and Leona Prince (Kressin); and his brothers, Jerome Prince and Gerald Prince. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Bowe (Bowe); his children, Barbara Ellis (Chippewa Falls), Laurie Prince of Cottage Grove, WI and Steve Prince of Minneapolis, MN; his grandchildren, Tim Ellis and Amy Ellis; his children, Emily Csuy and Ryan Csuy; his brother Dale Prince (Chippewa Falls); his sister-in-law Viola Prince (Chippewa Falls); Gary and Karen Foster. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Feed My People Food Bank in Howard's name or a contribution to the Salvation Army red kettles this holiday season, would also be appreciated, as Howie was a frequent bell ringer at Christmas time.
