James Duane Severson Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of James Duane Severson (Eau Claire, Wisconsin) is shared. James, born on September 19, 1945, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Severson and Lois Severson (Bonnie); his brother William; his in-laws, Leo and Arvilla Nemer; his brother Richard; and his sister-in-law Janis Sukus (Nemer).

He is survived by: his wife Wendy Severson (Nemer); his children, William (Alexis) and Katherine Harris (Nathan); his grandchildren, James, Bennett Severson, Elisabeth and Emilia Harris; and his siblings, Bonnie Wilson (John) and Robert Severson (Marian). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Jim Severson's name to the Chippewa Valley YMCA or Feed My People Food Bank.
