She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold "Gus" Crane and Cynthia Crane (Marson); her husband Jim Chumas; and her brother Roger Crane. She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Chumas (Julie), Athena Moseler (Christopher), Emilia Skaw (Jack), Zachary Chumas (Jodene) and Andra Chumas (Evin); and her grandchildren, Matthew, Sam, Bailey, Daniel, Harry, Jackson, Andrew, Edward, Theo, Hadly, Gus and Athena. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Memorial Lounge at Christ Church. A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Christ Church (510 S Farwell St, Eau Claire, WI 54701).
In lieu of flowers, Jany requested that memorials be given to Camp Manitou or Christ Church Cathedral.
