We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2025, at the age of 89, Janice Thompson of Eau Claire, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Block and Gunda Block; her husband Robert L. Thompson; and her siblings-in-law, Chester, Gordon Thompson, Dave Garton, Thelma, Marge Thompson and Gladys Garton.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert L. Thompson II of Eau Claire and Dr. David J. Thompson (Margarita) of Livonia, Michigan; and her granddaughters, Yana and Kalina Thompson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chippewa Valley Seventh-Day Adventist Church (919 10th St W, Altoona, WI 54720). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lakeview Cemetery (1500 Buffington Dr, Eau Claire, WI 54703).
