It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Boland Sr. of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his parents, Joseph and Bernice; his sisters, Mary Woeste, Susanne DeMarco and Kathleen Boesch; and his children-in-law, Denny and Susannah.
He is survived by: his brothers, William and David; his children, John, Patricia, Dennis (Ann) and James; his grandchildren, Timothy (Jen), Erin, Elizabeth (Ben), Kimberly (Andres) and David; and his great grandchildren, Andres, Santiago, Eli, Emi, Rori, Calvin and Aoife. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to Roncalli Newman in La Crosse or to a charity of the giver's choice.
