She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Veum and Nora Veum; her husband James G. Smith; and her sisters, Beverly Johnson of Larkspur, CO and Connie Boehm of Eau Claire.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Legro (Douglas) of Oshkosh, Michael of Chippewa Falls, Robert of Helena, MT and Steven of Barnes, WI.; her grandchildren, Andrew Shaw of Neenah, Alisa Shaw of Suamico, Lindsey Thomas (Jeff) of Eau Galle, Jerrod Smith (Katie) of Eau Claire, Garrett Smith of Helena, MT and Savannah Smith of Phoenix, AZ.; her great grandchildren, Kyla, Alexis of Suamico, Jackson and Jett of Eau Claire; and her great great grandchild Greyson. She is also survived by 4 nieces and 6 nephews.
