She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Penl and Andrew Penl; her husband Peter John; and her sisters, Catherine (Fuzzy) and Carol.
She is survived by: her daughter Andrea; her granddaughters, Jenna and Abby; and her sister Sherry.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice in Karen's honor, as a testament to her generous spirit and commitment to helping others.
