He is survived by: his wife Deborah McConnell-Powe; his stepdaughter Maya; his daughter Rachel El-Amin (Elliott); his granddaughters, Sophia and Olivia; and his siblings, Omega, Anna (Ron), Joyce, Johnny, Boyd and Paul. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
