He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Shepler and Lyle Shepler; and his siblings, Darlene Smith, Gretchen Hotchkiss and Micheal Shepler.
He is survived by: his wife Irma Hasart; his children, Sherry Shepler (Michael Medows) and Troy Shepler (Joan); his grandchildren, Brent, Henage (Sara), Lyndsay Simmons and Paige Rygiel (Jacob); his great grandchildren, Deven, Damian Simmons, Daisy, Dixie and Della Rygiel; his siblings, Roger (Shirley), Terry (Sandra), Denny (Rose), Randy (Mary), Danny (Jeanette), Mary Stygar and Jacquekine Andersen; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Harart (Sherry), LaVern Hasart (Marge), Neva Robbins, Ina Myers (George), Vera Kittinstad, Doris Valerio and Diane Bibeau (Tom). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
