It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marie E. Leonard of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 5, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Green and Esther Green (Rydberg); her husband Jim; her grandson Gage Backstrom; her siblings, Eugene (Arlene), Reuben Green, Marion Robey (Donovan) and Joyce Green; and her brother-in-law Arlyn "Bud" Swanson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kaileen Leonard (Glen Cullen) and Kirsten Backstrom; her sister-in-law Janice Swanson; and her nephews, Dean Swanson and Jeffrey Robey. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in Marie's name to either the Women's Giving Circle of the Eau Claire Community Foundation or a charity of your choice.
