We announce the death of Melinda Swatkowski (Eau Claire, Wisconsin), who passed away on July 27, 2026. Melinda will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Melinda will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Melinda’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.

She is survived by: her husband Jonathan; her sons, Avett and Xavier; her parents, Lee Zoellner and Janet Zoellner; and her siblings, Liz Kunkle (Calvin) and Michael Zoellner (Abbie). She is also survived by her extended family; and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor Lindy's memory to contribute to a GoFundMe established for Avett and Xavier.
