He was predeceased by: his parents, William Charles McCann and Ruth Elizabeth McCann (Steidinger); his parents-in-law, David and Evelyn Noonan; his sister Karen Nell Hause; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Hause and Margaret Simpson McCann.
He is survived by: his wife Pat (Noonan); his children, Kelly Rhoades of Wilmington, Michelle Malone of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Terry McCann of Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Dirk Malone (Nikki McCann); his brother John McCann; his grandchildren, Taylor Malone, McKenzie Malone, Aiden Love, Elijah Acosta and Keira McCann; and his great grandchildren, Ivy Malone and Forrest Acosta. He is also survived by numerous cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in law, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A vigil service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Lenmark-Gomsrud-Linn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. James the Greater Catholic Church (2502 11th St, Eau Claire, WI 54703). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 2:45 PM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (4100 S Hastings Way, Eau Claire, WI 54701).
